The Shiels Head Office is filled with ‘dyed in the wool’ footy fans, so it’s no surprise this year that Shiels is taking charge of the Kiss Cam at the newly developed Adelaide Oval for each Adelaide Crows home game. So footy fans – we’re looking for some expert smooches in that sea of football team colours so pucker up! Each couple caught pashing on the big screen wins a $100 gift card to spend at any Shiels store. The couples we manage to track down also go into the running for our end of season competition where we get you guys to vote on which pash was your favourite. The winning couple gets two 1 year memberships to the Adelaide Crows. All who participate in the voting go into the draw to win a stunning solitaire diamond ring worth $3999.
This week at the Crows vs Kangaroos game, we had some magnificent smooches caught on the Kiss Cam. From a quick peck on the cheek, a loving kiss to an outright pash, we got the full range of lip locking on Sunday. So far we’ve tracked down two couples caught on our Kiss Cam. Ashleigh and Stuart
Our first Kiss Cammers are Ashleigh and Stuart, aged 22 who live in Plympton, SA. Ashleigh works in administration and Stuart works as a meter reader. These two lovebirds have been together for almost 2 years and are clearly one very cute couple! Big footy fans, these two spent most of last season trying to get on the Kiss Cam but were unsuccessful – talk about a lot of kisses gone to waste! We’re so glad we managed to catch these two lip-locking on the weekend. Ashleigh says that being on the Shiels Kiss Cam was pretty funny, all of her family and friends have seen the footage and can only agree with her. According to Ashleigh, Stuart’s the one who will be spending the $100 gift voucher on her – we hope it’s something sparkly Stuart; diamonds are always a girl’s best friend (hint hint!). Congratulations to both of you and good luck in the voting. David and Owen
While this couple may not have been a kissing couple, they were adorable nonetheless. David, 39, and his son Owen who is just 4 years old are big footy fans. Currently in kindy, Owen’s favourite player is midfielder Patrick Dangerfield of the Adelaide Crows. While Owen may not have completely understood the idea of the Shiels Kiss Cam at the time, he’s loved watching the video of Dad giving him a bit of kiss and cuddle at the game. His dad David works at Adelaide University and is currently a researcher in the field of Hydraulics. A big footy fan, David goes to all of the games he can. He plans to give his gift card to his beautiful wife to buy something lovely for herself. Congratulations to David and Owen and good luck in the final voting for best kiss on the Shiels Kiss Cam.
