Bridal Jewellery Trends 2024:

Layered Necklaces and Chokers

Layered necklaces and chokers are trends that never go out of style. Nothing beats the elegance and class of the perfect curated necklace look. To execute the perfect ensemble there are many things to consider.

You should choose a variety of different types of chains, we have many to choose from such as curb chains, anchor chains, box chains and diamond cut chains. You should have at least two different types of chain that are different gauges. Layers look the best when there is a variety between chunky and delicate chains.

The necklaces should be different lengths. Start with a choker chain, and then layer longer, ensuring that none of the necklaces are the same length. You can layer anywhere upwards from two different chains, although between three to five necklaces at once is the optimal choice. The best-layered ensembles also consist of a variety of plain chains, as well as pendants

Which metals you choose is entirely up to you! Some choose to wear the same colour across all of their jewellery, while it is also widely accepted to mix and match your silver necklaces, white gold necklaces and yellow gold necklaces!

Mesmerising Gemstone Rings

Gemstone rings have been floating around for many years now, and it is safe to say that this is a trend that is here to stay. These rings are an alternative to the traditional diamond ring that, while still beloved by many, lacks individuality and personal expression. Hence, for those looking to break the rules and step outside the box, a gemstone engagement ring is a great idea.

There are many aspects to consider when choosing an alternative engagement ring. From the more fun choices like shape, setting and colour to the harsh realities of gemstone functions and how durable they are. Stones such as sapphire, emerald and rubies are rated high in terms of hardness, and are suitable for everyday wear. Stones such as morganite, aquamarines and garnet are less durable. They can still be used, however, more care is needed to maintain the integrity of the rings.

Pearl Pieces

Revitalise vintage favourites with some glorious pearl jewellery to really elevate your wedding look. Pearls are the most unique and rare of all gemstones. They are the only gem material that is formed and found within a living creature. Also, unlike other stones like diamonds, rubies and emeralds, pearls require no cutting or polishing whatsoever before use. They naturally are formed in small smooth spheres.

Pearls can be found in a range of different colours from white, pink to even black variations - and each pearl will have a unique hue, which is partly what makes them so special.

Often marketed as feminine jewellery that is tied to weddings, fertility and love, they are the perfect gem to include in your bridal outfit. They tie in perfectly to a white wedding dress and compliment diamonds exquisitely. For a vintage aesthetic that is timeless, sophisticated and classic, then look no further than some beautiful peal pieces such as pearl necklaces, pearl bracelets or even a gorgeous pair of pearl earrings

Classic Tennis Bracelets

Tennis bracelets have been around for a long time, however, they are currently massively trending! A tennis bracelet is synonymous with an eternity strand of diamonds that sit delicately on the wrist. The term came about when tennis star Chris Evert lost her strings of diamonds during a highly competitive match in the 1987 US Open, as anyone would, Evert requested that they pause the game so that she could collect her precious jewels - from then on, the infamous tennis bracelet has been tied to Evert.

Regardless of how they got their name, they remain to be a classic piece with maximum sparkle. Nothing beats the simplicity of a sea of diamonds and diamond jewellery. Besides that, they are especially versatile and can be paired with just about anything. If you have beads in your wedding dress, then a tennis bracelet is a perfect way to compliment your look.
