When it comes to proposal locations, the more stunning, the better—and it doesn’t get much better than the majestic ocean. But that is only if you like sharks.
This is the moment a brave husband-to-be popped the question to his girlfriend in a shark cage.
Why shark cage diving?
Well, Brad and Shiels Jewellers employee Sammie had planned to go on a cruise, but due to COVID-19, the couple had to compromise.
Seeing as shark cage diving had always been on their bucket list, Brad got creative and organised something even more unique and special.
Despite not actually see any sharks, it was memorable for another reason.
''When I turned around, he was down on one knee with a sign asking if myself and my children will marry him,'' Sammie said.
''He took me completely by surprise, but it was great. I was in shock, I just ended up hugging him because I wasn't sure how to say yes underwater.
''I had no idea he was going to propose, it was a bit odd, but he said that he had planned a few things for the weekend.
''He's really bad at hiding things from me, so he was just excited. I think it was because shark diving had always been on our bucket list, so he was really excited to go finally do it.''
Talk about piling on the pressure! Fortunately, she said yes.
As for the ring, Brad opted to go with an engagement ring from our Seamless Collection.

''I think he just chose it because it caught his eye,'' Sammie explained.
''I had pointed out a couple of things while working at Shiels to show him what I liked if the day ever came, but I think he actually chose something better than I would have.
''He didn't take the real one in the water because he didn't want to drop it, so he gave it back to me at the hotel.''
