Perfect for my teenage son

After trying multiple studs (gold plated stainless steel) & ear infections, I finally bit the bullet & bought him 9ct gold & it was ok but the backing was way too loose & fell off, subsequently losing an expensive earring (lucky they were sold asca pair & we had a back-up stud) so had to buy lock-tight style backings separately. They have done the trick. Now my son is happy, no infected ear piercing due to allergic to anything but the best, stud stays in & looks great. We got there in the end. Buy on sale though or too costly.
