Seiko has unveiled three new Seiko Prospex Speedtimers, following a resurgence of the beloved design. This newest generation of speedtimers is more vibrant than ever, making use of sunray dials and classic colourways.

The fan-favourite 'Panda' speedtimer makes an appearance, while we also get a look at a brand new 'Pepsi' Seiko. Even with callbacks to the original Seiko 6139, this collection is refreshingly modern, and super sporty.

Featuring both solar-power and aluminium tachymeter bezels, these chronograph watches are filled with functionality. The high-accuracy movement and strong durability of these Seiko Prospex watches makes them as reliable as any contemporary watch. Available now on Shiels.

Overview:

Seiko Prospex SSC911P Speedtimer

There's a lot to like about this brand new Seiko 'Panda', but it's also very different from the original look. It's about 2mm thicker in diameter, the bezel is a little wider, and the dial is encased in a thin layer of black.

The biggest difference, however, comes from the glossy sunray dial and sporty red seconds hand. This takes the 'Panda' from charming to flashy real quick, and both styles have merit.

This Seiko Speedtimer is incredibly sleek, and it's a seriously impressive wear if you're going to take it out running or even to a formal outing. Its tachymeter bezel adds a luxury touch, and comes in a ¼ black and deep grey look to blend into the three-link steel bracelet.

Seiko Prospex SSC913P Speedtimer

Sporting the iconic Seiko 'Pepsi' colourway, this speed timer is the latest in a long line of classic watches. And much like the 'Panda', it brings a high-performance sports appeal to the look.

Again, the red second-hand makes all the difference, matching the bright red of the bezel and standing out from a deep blue dial. A sunray dial adds some shine, with black subdials and white highlights completing an impressive colour palette.

The look is tempered by the lightness of stainless steel and set in a comfortable 41.4mm case with a smooth bracelet. Like any good Seiko watch, you are getting a combination of style, performance, and pleasant wrist-feel.

Electing for a black and red colourway, the SSC915P Speedtimer is the darkest option of the three new Seiko Prospex watches. Even still, the flashes of red, white, and brushed steel offer an amazing amount of depth to this look.

The LumiBrite looks excellent as a result of the black dial, while all the high-performance details delight as always. Just like its two counterparts, it's protected by a curved sapphire glass that gives it a slightly dressier look to offset the super-sporty colorway and chronograph function.

If you're after a high-performance sports timer, we recommend your pick of these fantastic new Seiko watches.
