Mother’s Day at Shiels has always been about celebrating mums, and this year’s campaign began with a simple, universal idea: a child would gift Mum a macaroni necklace, before Dad follows through with a ‘real’ piece from Shiels.
It was a concept the team instantly connected with – simple, familiar, full of meaning – and one we couldn’t wait to bring to life through our campaign video.
Behind the scenes
A shoot this personal and special needed to be authentic, so when it came to choosing our models, we couldn’t think of anything more fitting than capturing our Managing Director Toby’s beautiful family.
We kept things intentionally simple, so the focus stayed on the small, natural moments between our leading ladies Elodie and Lauren, with Toby joining at the end to complete the family dynamic.
What you see in the finished result are real moments, and we all had goosebumps seeing it all come together.
