Seiko 5 Sports GMT Men's Mikan Orange SKX Re-Interpretation SSK005K Stainless Steel Case and Bracelet, Automatic Movement Watch with GMT functionality. Initially introduced in the 1990s, the SKX Seiko 5 Sports watches represented a modernized rendition of the classics, enhancing the reliability and sturdiness of the original 1960s models. The 1990s lineup boasted upgraded practical features, including improved water resistance, reinforced crystals, and luminous hands and hour markers.
The dual-tone 24-hour bezel is coated with Hardlex for durability, while the addition of the GMT hand enhances practicality and visibility. Retaining the SKX legacy, the beads-of-rice bracelet features a distinctive design. Engineered for international timekeeping, the GMT hand and highly visible hour markers facilitate quick time zone calculations.
Powered by the Seiko 4R34 automatic movement with manual winding capability, the SKX005 offers a 41-hour power reserve. With a 42.5mm case size and a see-through case back, it features LumiBrite-coated hands and indices for low-light visibility.
