Description
The Seiko Presage GMT Skydiving Cocktail Time SSK037J is a men’s automatic watch with a 40.5mm light blue dial, part of Seiko’s first Cocktail Time GMT series.
Inspired by the ‘Skydiving’ cocktail from Tokyo’s Star Bar, known for its mix of rum, lime juice, and blue curaçao, the watch’s dial reflects this pale blue hue. The design mimics a cocktail glass, with the GMT hand resembling a glass stem and the second hand a cocktail stirrer. It features Arabic numerals, Dauphine-style hands, a date function at 3 o’clock, and a five-link bracelet for added comfort and light refraction.
The SSK037J has a case thickness of 12.8mm, a lug-to-lug size of 47.5mm, a lug width of 20mm, and weighs around 140g. It is powered by the Seiko 4R34 calibre, offering manual and automatic winding, with a daily accuracy of +45 / -35 seconds and a 41-hour power reserve. The watch also includes a box-shaped Hardlex crystal, 50m water resistance, an exhibition case back, and dual-time zone tracking.
